CONFINED SPACE RESCUE COURSES
CONFINED SPACE RESCUE OPERATIONS

This course prepares organizations and responders to perform entry-type confined space rescues where conditions allow for effective retrieval and limited interior search. Training focuses on hazard size-up, rescuer protection, atmospheric monitoring, defined team roles, and managing the physical and psychological demands of entry.
Participants develop skills in victim packaging for large, unobstructed spaces and the use of rope-based lowering and raising systems in high-angle environments.
CONFINED SPACE RESCUE TECHNICIAN

This course prepares responders to conduct advanced confined space rescue operations in spaces with increased complexity and risk. Technician-level training addresses rescues where victim location is unknown, entanglement hazards exist, retrieval is ineffective, or access limitations restrict SCBA use.
Participants develop advanced capabilities in hazard mitigation, atmospheric control using respiratory protection, complex entry and search techniques, and coordinated victim recovery in challenging confined space configurations.
