SP105 – INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS WILDLAND FIRE SUPPRESSION TRAINING

 ONE DAY 

Help your team stay safe, confident, and compliant in wildfire-prone environments.

The SP105 training package equips employees with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills to:
 

  • Respond quickly and safely to wildfires sparked by—or occurring near—industrial operations

  • Confidently operate the fire suppression equipment required on site


This one-day course is ideal for organizations not mandated to maintain a full fire equipment cache, as outlined in the Industrial Operations section of Ontario Regulation 207/96 (Outdoor Fires).

The training includes a field-based component to reinforce practical skills and is designed to boost both safety and readiness in high-risk environments.

  • Understanding fire behaviour

  • Basic wildfire suppression strategies

  • Safe practices when working around aerial fire suppression crews

SP106 – INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS WILDLAND FIRE SUPPRESSION TRAINING

 TWO DAYS 

Designed for organizations required to maintain a fire equipment cache under Ontario Regulation 207/96.

The SP106 training package builds on the fundamentals of SP105, offering enhanced instruction for teams operating in higher-risk environments where full compliance with the Industrial Operations section of Ontario’s Outdoor Fires regulation is mandatory.

  • Respond quickly and safely to wildfires sparked by—or occurring near—industrial operations

  • Confidently operate the fire suppression equipment required on site
     

This one-day course is ideal for organizations not mandated to maintain a full fire equipment cache, as outlined in the Industrial Operations section of Ontario Regulation 207/96 (Outdoor Fires).
Day two is dedicated to hands-on field work, giving participants the opportunity to build confidence and competence with real-world pump and hose scenarios.

Ensure your team is fully prepared, properly trained, and regulation-compliant.

This two-day course includes:

  • All SP105 content (wildfire behaviour, basic suppression, and aerial fire safety)

  • In-depth training on fire pump operations

  • Hose deployment, handling, and maintenance

  • Advanced suppression techniques using full cache equipment
